Alex is a light blonde gelding that has a fantastic stride for endurance or trail riding. He COVERS the ground. He is solid enough in driving single and team to hitch a 2 year old hafy next to him. ALEX knows the word whoa. He responds with steady attention while driving or riding. He is not finished in his canter yet (he is only 4 years old) but he is balanced and good with the canter. Steady on trail, steady on the road and easy going with other horses. Alex is a submissive personality to both other horses and to humans. He will make a good match to folks who may be a bit timid since Alex has no desire to be pushy or confrontational. This easy going young gelding will excel in the show ring or simply be a good match with a person who wants a family trail riding horse. No fuss, no challenge. simply a willing partner.
Alex has a health issue that must be managed for the rest of his life. He has Head Shakers Syndrome. http://headshakingsyndrome.com/
He is currently managed with Magnesium supplementation (MagRestore or Quiessence) and spirulina. He does not appear to be Photosynsitive.
His BEST home condition is a trail/family home with pasture conditions and other horses he can buddy up with. This is to lessen the stress factor in his life.
Alex has the pedigree of a champion.
